I spend a lot of time at my school taking photos of the various sporting fixtures and then putting them on the school photo gallery website. This one was taken a week ago on a freezing cold Saturday with my Sony A350 and the Sony G series 70-300 mm lens. The 1st and the U16s were the main team playing while I was shooting – after that I was too cold and shivery to hold the camera still. I was using a monopod which helped enormously – I find a tripod too restricting of quick and accurate movement. Minimal processing in Aperture – just cropping, levels and sharpening.
