Me and My Wife

Me and My Wife

January 17th, 2009

Since I’m introducing myself at this stage of the photoblog, I thought I would provide all you stalkers with a photo of me and my wife.  After all, she is a very important part of my life – some might suggest more important than my camera ;-) We met at university in Southampton and married shortly after, and have lived in various parts of the UK.  We’ve been together quite a long time and she’s seen the earlier manifestations of photography when I used to take transparencies (slides) years ago in connection with my work.  The last few years have again seen me taking photos for work whilst working on my school websites.  When I was a lad I even used to take prints which I would process and enlarge myself at school.  My wife is very patient especially when I’m taking lots of surfing photos or dragging my feet whilst going round interesting locations, and is very useful sometimes for carrying some of the equipment!  Here’s a link to a mosaic of photos of my wife if you’d like to see more.  The shot above was taken with a Panasonic point & shoot in Balboa Park, San Diego, California when visiting my son a couple of years ago.  It has been photoshopped to tone down the reflection off my head!
