Loving the camera

Loving the camera

It’s amazing how differently people respond to the appearance of a camera.  Some go shy, others silly, and some are natural posers.  This shot was taken during Cadet Corps for which I was taking shots of what was going on generally.  But as soon as this boy saw the camera, he threw off his combat jacket and lay on the ground posing for the camera.  Note the non-regulation tee-shirt!  I took several shots before I had to get on with my job and he with his activity.  This one has been cropped but otherwise no post-production has been done whatsoever.  In fact, it might benefit from some slight sharpening and maybe a little alteration of the colours to adjust skin tone – but I think I’ll leave it as it is.  Hope you like it.  There are more of this boy on my flickr.
