This was a photo of a hellebore – taken in Winchcombe in Gloucestershire – that has been photoshopped for fun.  Not to improve the photo but just to see what I could do.  I used the filters to emphasise edges and lines, thus bringing out the veins in the petals as well as making the texture of the stone wall more interesting.  I then painted in the pink to add saturation to the image and to balance the blue and yellow which had appeared in the centre of the blooms during the processing.  Olympus u740 point and shoot.
