Back to summer sunshine, the beach and the surf.  This was taken in Encinitas, southern California in 2007 using my Sony H9.  It has been cropped slightly to improve composition, and contrast and saturation enhanced slightly making an altogether better looking shot than the original.  I found that I often had to improve saturation and contrast with the H9 on these surfing shots – maybe it was the glare off the water putting off the camera, since contrast and saturation were great for many other shots, particularly close-ups.  My “most interesting” surf photos on flickr are here although this photo doesn’t appear in that set, but the original does!  DSC02811b.
