Spring Snowdrops

Spring Snowdrops

March 19th, 2009

The flowers are really coming out now that Spring seems to have settled, and snowdrops are one of the earliest to appear.  This shot was taken a year ago at Trench Hill Farm, near Sheepscombe in the Cotswolds, UK.  Trench Hill is a superb garden well worth visiting full of all kinds of flowers but especially snowdrops and hellebore.  This was taken with a Sony H9 which is particularly good at close-up photos and with its fold-out screen it is easy to get down close to the ground.  Just a little levels, definition and vibrancy in Aperture.  My Trench Hill photos are here on flickr.  DSC00285
