This photo was taken at Highnam House, Gloucester, April 2008, at their Spring Fair in aid of Pied Piper – a charity which has helped my wife’s school a lot. There were lots of gardening displays, vintage cars, loads of flowers, sculptures, and a band.  Here is a bearded gentleman listening to the band.  I love taking photos of people, especially faces, and although I mainly take younger people, there is something about the more mature face which is so expressive of their life.  The lines and wrinkles tell their own story which can be fascinating.  I’ll leave you to read this one for yourself!  More from Highnam on my flickr.  DSC04032
