On the beach

I’m looking forward to the Summer, so it’s back to a beach photo today. This one was taken at Oceanside, Southern California in 2007 when there was a big sewage outlet pipe traversing the northern beach. Don’t know what it was for, but I thought it was quite an eyesore. These people seemed to be quite happy with it and made use of it to sit on or lean against. Taken with a Sony H9 “superzoom” camera. Here is my California collection on flickr. DSC03217
