Taken in Minehead, UK on the occasion of the West Somerset Railway’s Spring Gala, 70013 Oliver Cromwell is seen being uncoupled from its train.  At Gala times, the interest in steam engines really shows, with crowds surrounding the engines making it difficult for the serious photographer to get close.  So for this shot I contented myself with showing the engine in context – being mobbed by enthusiastic fans!  This was taken with my Sony a350 and Tamron 17-55 mm lens, and processed in Aperture (levels), Noise Ninja, Topaz Adjust (colours) and Photoshop (sharpening).  More from the West Somerset Railway here.  DSC08772
