Transparent Hellebore

Transparent Hellebore

This is another spring flower shot from Trench Hill Farm, in the Cotswolds.  I love the way the light shines through the bloom.  It’s difficult to get a shot like this because most Hellebore are very close to the ground and the flowers hang down so you really need to get underneath them.  The fold out lcd of the Sony H9 makes this a lot easier than it would be with most DSLRs.  Virtually no PP done.  More flowers on flickr.  DSC0307
