Gloucester Tall Ships Festival

Gloucester Tall Ships Festival

This weekend has seen the Gloucester Tall Ships Festival held at Gloucester Docks.  Some people may not have realised that a city like Gloucester has docks – but it’s on both the River Severn and the Gloucester and Berkeley Ship Canal.  Shipping has always been important for Gloucester and this festival celebrated an amazing assortment of tall ships, as well as a little bit of “Gloucester Through The Ages“.  Taken with a Sony a350 and processed in Aperture and Photoshop.  More photos appearing shortly on my flickr stream.  DSC02347
