Learning to Surf (3)

Here’s another shot of a young girl learning to surf under the watchful eye of her father.  It was taken with my Sony H9 and processed from jpeg in Aperture.  A little adjustment of levels and then some cheating – I removed the head of an interfering swimmer!  I find the spot healing brush in Aperture very good for all sorts of blemish removals – from spots on faces to spots on lenses.  With the power to repair or clone and to do so with varied opacity, it is very powerful.  Here are some of my surfing photos from 2008 on flickr.  DSC02548
