Wide Format Surfing

This was taken in California this summer as one of a number of surfing shots I took. Usually I leave them in the standard 3×2 format, but for a change I’ve cropped wide for this photo. This gets rid of much of the sky and the foreground water and so emphasizes the wave and the surfer. I hope you like it. More surfing shots here on my flickr. DSC06895
