This photo was taken during a ramble around a curious hill known as Rodney’s Pillar.  The photo has had no manipulation whatsoever which is very unusual for my photos since I usually sharpen them and increase saturation and brightness slightly.  But here there was no need for any levels adjustment or even lightening of the shadow under his hat.  The light seems just about perfect, I think.  Any sharpening would have emphasized his freckles, although a little selective sharpening of his eyes might benefit the photo.  My most interesting CCF photos are here on flickr.  DSC03973
