This photo was taken at army cadet camp at the end of last term. We went off to rural Shropshire and did lots of army and sporty things. This was taken on the morning of our visit to Ellesmere Lake where we went Kayaking along with a range of other activities. I was taking photos with my Sony a350 and this boy was using a Canon 450D with a Tamron 28-300mm zoom. The Tamron is a little soft at the long end and the zoom action is a little loose so you need the zoom lock when walking around. My Sony G series 70-300mm is much sharper and more secure.
