I took this photo at a lunch which generally required the use of some flash. I try to use the flash off camera, wirelessly fired – actually I have to because the flash shoe is broken on my camera. I used a diffuser and bounced the flash off the ceiling. The photo was then processed in Aperture, Photoshop and Topaz to bring out the detail, fade the background and enhance the feel of the image.
