This is another classic car treated in Topaz Adjust and Photoshop. I used a mask to get rid of all the distracting background clutter, and then used Topaz Adjust several times, along with masking, to bring out the shiny beauty of the car. Particular care was needed to avoid colour patches appearing on the tyres or a yellow cast on the chrome. See also yesterday’s image of a Falcon 3-wheeler. DSC07167

I was looking at a gallery of photos which were enhanced using the great Topaz Adjust plugin and they stimulated me to renewed creativity. I tried some classic cars and some portraits – here’s a classic 3 wheeler which was on show at Toddington, Gloucestershire recently. More classic cars here on my flickr. DSC07190

GWR Scammell Mechanical Horse

Photographed at Toddington on the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway, this classic vehicle is the slightly odd looking mechanical horse. It is a three wheeled tractor and trailer and is in the distinctive GWR colours. Actually I remember building a model of one of these using Meccano when I was a lad. Ford Prefect

The Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway had an exhibition of classic cars at Toddington recently at which I took this photo. My next door neighbours had a Ford Prefect when I was a teenager so I knew this car well – although I don’t remember theirs looking anything like as smart as this one!
